Chotiya Das Memorial Library
This digital library is dedicated to the loving memory of Chotiya Das (1959-2024), a beloved mother whose life touched many hearts. Created by her son Niranjan Hira, this library stands as a testament to her legacy and love for knowledge.
Heartfelt words from her son, Niranjan Hira:
"মনে হয় মা কোথাও বেড়াতে গেছেন, এই বুঝি এসে ডাক দিবেন... হীরা... কখনো মনে হয়, পাশের বাড়িতে গেছেন এলেই ভাত বেড়ে দিবেন। কত কথা বলবেন কিন্তু ফিরে আসেন না মা। আজকের এই দিনে তার আত্মার মুক্তি কামনায় শ্রাদ্ধ অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। সারাদিন মনে পড়েছে সেসব কথা। ভালো থাকুক পৃথিবীর সকল মা।"
The Chotiya Das Memorial Library was officially inaugurated on May 29, 2025, at the Dinajpur Press Club Auditorium. This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter in preserving and sharing knowledge in honor of Chotiya Das's memory.
